I lost on Jeaopardy
The DOW is 11% down since monday ~ “sorry about that slip up in the DOW today, I meant to press the million button, not the billion one”. Oh..also a governor in Russia and the president of the international chess association says he speaks to aliens telepathically when they visit. Cheech took the semi’s, so he’s up for the million in the finals this evening and I’d like to see him take it for the Hispanic Scholarship fund. Likewise, i’m also surprised that celebrity jeopardy only has 400 some facebook fans (http://www.facebook.com/CelebrityJeopardy), just saying? doesn’t “I’ll name my baby megatron and this pickle have millions of fans and something beaming into millions of homes every evening following the news only as 400. odd eh?
I tried out for Jeopardy and I got past the first two tests. I missed three questions on the final test of 20 for the screen test though. The answers were Grover Clevelend, Peter Parker, & waldorf salad.

They are sons of a pentacostal minister who’s band is name for the intersection of (G)reenwood, (A)rcher, & (P)ine Streets. This was the location of the Tulsa Race Riot of 1921 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_Race_Riot) , which was largely due to an inflammatory front-page story from the Tulsa Tribune. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tulsa_Tribune). In December 1919, Richard Lloyd Jones took ownership. On January 19, 1920, he changed the name from the Tulsa Democrat to the Tulsa Tribune. As foreshadowed by this name change, the Tribune became a consistently Republican paper; it never endorsed a Democrat for U.S. president, and did not endorse a Democrat for governor until 1958. Jones commissioned his cousin, Frank Lloyd Wright, to build him a house in Tulsa; constructed in 1929, it is known as Westhope and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Jones’s father co-founded Tulsa’s All Souls Unitarian Church, now one of the largest Unitarian Universalist churches in the world and his son, Jenkin Lloyd Jones, Sr. became president of the American Society of Newspaper Editors in 1956, and president of the United States Chamber of Commerce in 1969.

I now occasionally smoke a pipe. I finally gave up cigarettes a couple months ago… long time coming and the most rewarding part for me has not been the obvious, but the fact that I will seldom, if ever step foot into a convenience store again. -
